Virtual Lifestyle Wellness Program Study for Breast Cancer Survivors
4-Week Program
(About 3 hours total)
Week 1
After completing the pre-program questionnaire, we’ll send you a link to the Virtual Lifestyle Wellness Program website! The program will begin with an hour long health promotion video on cancer survivorship that you can view at your convenience during this week. The eHealth course will provide enriching information on health-promoting lifestyle practices recommended for cancer survivors regarding exercise, healthy diet, stress reduction, and health tracking modalities. The video will conclude with a guided wellness vision activity for achieving optimal health and wellness goals within your everyday lifestyle routines.
Week 2
We’ll send you a brief video link expanding on physical activity recommendations for cancer survivors, along with a corresponding 5-minute health and wellness goals exercise.
Week 3
We’ll send you a link to a brief video on healthy diet information for cancer survivors along with a corresponding 5-minute health and wellness goals exercise.
Week 4
The last week you’ll receive a brief video link featuring stress reduction techniques. A health and wellness goals exercise is designed to reflect on how to incorporate more relaxing practices into your life.No need to turn in any of the activities during the program, they are for you to keep. To wrap up the week, we’ll send you an email with the post-program questionnaire.
After the study concludes, there will be a drawing for three $50 Amazon gift cards from the group of participants.
